Jungle Ruins NG Opening Flyby

The first level is nearing completion and I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the opening flyby to the game. I’m thinking of using only Troels Folmann’s music throughout as no one in my opinion does Tomb Raider better. I need to figure out how to get my good quality videos uploaded onto YouTube properly!

Radio Tower

One of my favourite online pastimes is playing Americas Army, particularly Radio Tower. My new computer handles the game extremely well and it’s a pleasure gaming with the guys and gals there. I’ve also joined the k!nGz clan and you can find me on AATracker from my links.

I’ll be keeping you updated of my progress with Americas Army but for now here are a few screenshots from Radio Tower. This is the Radio Tower itself. There are 3 objectives and one of them is housed within this building. The mission is to switch off the generator powering the radar mast on the roof.

And this is what the Radio Tower generator room looks like.

This is the building known as Big Ruins. It’s near the assault spawn area and can be the scene of some quite intense battles.

All three objectives are linked by a series of underground tunnels and it can be a real adrenaline rush fighting your way to the objectives through them. This is the B objective.

The third objective is housed in the small building to the right. The main hill is known as Central Peak and is usually well defended. Two good defence players on Central Peak can hold back the entire assault team denying them that route to the objectives. The screenshot is taken from North Valley.

Another lovely Gold Nugget

I found a lovely 0.91 gm nugget today. He’s the little one on the right beside the bigger 1.71 gm nugget I got a few weeks back. This is my private collection from one Sutherland river.

Vista Divorce

It’s official. Vista and I were divorced earlier today. It was a stormy marriage while it lasted. I should have known though. The signs were all there. But did I listen? I should have never left my beloved XP. It was wonderful to return to her arms. If Vista is the type of monster Microsoft is grooming for us eligible batchelors, I think I may have to scout around for another dating agency. I’m sure Vista was once married to Jabba.
