Gold Sniping in Scotland

Yesterday I enjoyed my first real day’s sniping. My mate and I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. It was warm, there was a beautiful breeze to keep the midgies away, the river was cystal clear and we both found some nice gold. Perfect day out!

  1. Very nice Mate!

You’ve got me excited to hit my first full day tomorrow! I’ve been panning for a couple years now and a friend of mine has 9 yrs exp. sniping offerd to show me the basics.

I got ther new suit and I’m ready to dive in!

I live here in Gold Country…Northern California. I’ll be out on the Bear River in Placer County!

I never thought about Scotland before as far a gold…looks like there’s plenty to be found.

    Happy, prosperous hunting my friend.

  2. Hi Danny! I love it down there under the water, it’s a whole new world. I’m making friends with loads of trout lol. They are always sniffing around looking for bugs in the gravel you’re fanning, it’s great. Seeing the gold underwater when you open a crack is just amazing. Enjoy your big day mate!
