The Brora website has a new page with a few autumn pictures. Obviously the site will be updated with fresh images from time to time so check back often! There are already a few new images around the website.

Yes, Brora has its own Jurassic Park! A mile inland from the village, forming part of the banks of the river, an exposed jurassic cliff face has Brora highlighted on every geologist’s map. There isn’t much chance of finding a T Rex however as this cliff was undersea at the time. The most common fossils are Belemnite guards and Ammonite shells.

I’ve added a new page to the Brora website on brochs around Brora. I’ve kicked it off with the Carn Liath broch just 3 miles south of the village with easy access and good parking. Well worth a visit!
